# AIUGC Video Workflow — setup

This adds two commands to Claude Code:

- `/aiugc-video-workflow` makes AI UGC video ads for your app from start to finish: it writes the
script, generates the creator footage, edits it with your real app recordings, lets you review
every cut frame by frame, and hands you the finished files ready for Meta and TikTok.
Generation costs roughly US$3 to $5 per 20-second ad.
- `/ugc-edit-workflow` turns real creator footage (clips a person filmed for you) into finished
UGC or Meta ads: it audits the clips, analyses your script, finds winning ads to use as edit
references, builds the cut plus hook variants and cutdowns, and runs the same review and export.
No generation, so no generation cost.

You do not need to run anything yourself. Claude Code does the setup.

## 1. Install (2 minutes)

1. Download and unzip the package.
2. Open Claude Code in the unzipped folder.
3. Paste this message:

> Set up the AIUGC Video Workflow from this folder: run install.sh, check that the tools listed in SETUP.md are present, install any that are missing, and tell me what you still need from me.

4. Start a new Claude Code session. The commands `/aiugc-video-workflow`, `/ugc-edit-workflow` and `/review` are now available in every project.

## 2. What Claude installs for you

These are the tools the workflow uses. Claude checks and installs them in step 1; this list is only so you know what is on your machine.

| Tool | What it is for |
|---|---|
| HyperFrames | the video editor and renderer |
| ffmpeg | video conversion and measurement |
| Node and Python | needed by the two above |
| whisper (optional) | transcribes reference ads |
| Real-ESRGAN (optional) | sharpens the generated footage, free |

## 3. The one thing only you can do: Treg access

Treg is the service that generates the footage and voices. It is the only paid part, and it uses a
shared team balance.

Ask the person who runs the ad budget to send a **Treg team invite** to your email. Then tell
Claude Code "I have a Treg invite" and it will walk you through accepting it. Never paste a
Treg token into a chat or a file.

## 4. Your app's assets

The workflow only shows real app screens. It never invents them. When you start a campaign,
Claude will ask you for what it needs. Have these ready:

- the app icon and logo
- the App Store link
- 3 to 6 screenshots
- short screen recordings of the features you want shown (8 to 15 seconds each, no notifications)
- brand colours and font, if you have them
- what the ad may and may not claim, and the call to action
- the language and market
- any ads that are already running

If your team keeps an asset library website, give Claude its link instead and it will take the
assets from there.

## 5. Make an ad

In your project folder, type `/aiugc-video-workflow` for an AI creator ad, or
`/ugc-edit-workflow` when you already have footage from a real creator.

Claude explains each step before doing it and asks for your approval before spending anything.
When a cut is ready, it sends you a review link where you can pause on any frame and leave a
note. Say "done" when you have finished reviewing, and it applies your notes. At the end you
choose which files you want (9:16 and 4:5 at 1080 are the defaults) and get a folder with the
finished videos.

## What is not included

Your campaigns, generated videos, your asset library and Treg access. Those stay with you.
